Believing is seeing...

My ^Tigger^ joined the angels on June 25th (12 days ago). I am still very lonely for him - I was so devastated to let him go. I asked him desparately to show me that he was okay. I think I got the biggest bridge kiss ever.

I love nature and all animals. My husband and I have kayaks and we took them out the 4th of July to a nearby large lake. I almost stayed on my bed in a lump but something told me to get out of the house.

I asked ^Tigger^ to show me a beautiful sight in nature and of course I was hoping it would be obvious and soon. Well it was. We were paddling along and my husband suddenly asked me "Do you know what that is??" I looked up and a Bald Eagle had just taken off out of the trees and flew directly over us. I saw him not 25 or 30 feet above my husband. There was no mistake - huge wingspan (at least 6 feet), completely brown body with a white tail. I almost fell out of my boat because the first thing that went through my mind was "Tigger!! Tigger has sent me a sign! He is soaring on powerful wings in glorious freedom."

We have a few bald eagles in central North Carolina at this time of year. They are increasing a little in number. But the chances of seeing one in free fight are pretty small (I increased them by paddling on a large body of water to a somewhat remote spot). BUT - my point is, this was not by chance alone. ^Tigger^ sent me an EAGLE!!

I hesitated to say this because it seems unbelievable. Even to me (my husband told me we didn't hallucinate the same thing). I smiled huge for 3 or 4 hours but the pain came back. It is too early not to still hurt a LOT. But I will never forget this. My ^Tigger^ is better than just okay at the bridge. He is awesome up there.
